It's time for adventure cycling in Somerset County, PA on The Great Allegheny Passage!

The Great Allegheny Passage now provides outdoor enthusiasts with over 131 continuous miles of trail from McKeesport, PA, to the terminus of the C&O Canal Trail which continues along the Potomac River on to Washington, DC. Please help us celebrate this acheivement with a membership or a renewal to the Somerset County Rails-to-Trails Association (SCRTA).

Forty-two miles of trail course through southern Somerset County, offering hikers and bikers a pristine woodland experience. Enjoy spectacular vistas from bridges and viaducts high above tumbling mountain streams. Pass through the 3300-foot Big Savage Tunnel, the dramatic gateway to the Mason Dixon Line and Maryland.

Membership in SCRTA provides funding for maintenance and guarantees the trail's future use. All members receive a membership card, a beautiful GAP pin, and three issues yearly to Trail Trackings, the SCRTA newsletter.

Join us, trail supporters, on our pathway to adventure!

Sincerely,

SCRTA Board of Directors
Hank Parke, President
